La Plagne is home to France’s only bobsleigh and skeleton track. Nestled below Plagne 1800, it reflects a long-standing tradition deeply rooted in this alpine resort. Even before La Plagne became a ski resort, locals enjoyed “road bobsleighing” and took advantage of the intense cold in this area to create the very first beginnings of the track.
